The Answers You Need
The following is a carefully thought-out and curated list of the questions that several customers have asked in the past. If you have a question for us, please go through our list before getting in touch. If you still can’t find the answers you’re looking for, please contact us directly and we will be happy to assist you.
Q: What does the price include?
A: The price you see is the price you pay, there are no hidden costs. This price includes all luxury Egyptian bed linen (pillow covers, duvet covers and bed sheets), bath towels, hand and tea towels and beds made up on arrival. Also included is a firepit, BBQ, 2 camp chairs and wooden picnic table. Full use of our communal kitchen: freezer, large fridge, microwave, toaster and gas hob. Bucket full of wood from our very own woodland to be used in the log burner pod which is your heat source.
Q: What you buy?
A: You can buy a pack of charcoal or bag of wood for BBQ or Fire pit for £3 a bag. You can buy all items during your stay,
Q: Can we bring our pet?
A: We do accept dogs on our sites, but there is a cleaning charge of £10 per dog for the whole stay. We do not allow dogs on furniture or bedding. Dogs are not allowed in the communal kitchen or toilets. Please ensure they are under control and on a lead at all times - you are in a livestock area and farmers will not be happy if their stock is disturbed.
Q: Is there a WC inside the Pods?
A: There is a WC inside 2 pods: Porthor and Porth Neigwl. You do not need to walk to the shared toilets in the middle of the night!
Q: Where can you shower?
We have a brand new shower/toilet block. We charge a small fee for use of our hot showers: 20p for 1 min, 40p for 2 min …. or £1 for 8 min.
Q: Is there water in the Pods?
There is a tap water on the fence behind each pod.
Q: What type of cooking facilities are there?
A: We have a communal kitchen which provides sink, gas hobs, toaster, large fridge, freezer, microwave, tumble dryer and washing machine.
Q: Can I bring a travel cot?
A: Yes, you can fit a travel cot in any pod.
Q: What is the length of stay?
A: We offer a minimum of 2 night stay, weekend breaks, or a full 7 days
Q: What is the earliest arrival time?
A: We like to welcome our guests from 3 pm onwards.
Q: Can we park beside the pod?
A: During Spring/Summer time you are welcome to park your car next door to your glamping pod which is very convenient. But we regret that we do not allow vehicles on the field when the weather has been wet. You must park your car in the car park.
Q: Can we light a Firepit/BBQ?
A: You can use our firepit that is included for the entire duration of your stay.Each pod has a BBQ for your use. You are not allowed to put BBQ on the wooden decking,
Q: How do we keep food items cold?
A: There is a small fridge in each glamping pod and 1 large fridge in the communal kitchen.
Q: How do I find the contact details and location of the site where we are going?
A: Once you have made a booking with us which is fully paid, we will forward you a welcome document that includes full details of your site.
Q: Do you supply electricity or Wifi in your glamping pods?
All pods have electricity.There is no Wifi on the field, but it is possible to use 4G.
Q: Is there a mobile phone signal on the site?
A: Yes we have mobile phone signal on site.
Q: Do we have to clean the pods when we leave?
A: We ask kindly for you to leave the pod clean and tidy, do the washing up, bag all rubbish and take to the rubbish area. If you are staying with friends and taking more than 2 pods, please ensure that any items that have migrated from one pod to another make their way back again.
Q: Do you accept adult only large group bookings?
A: Yes, we accept 'adult only' group bookings. Our sites is perfect for large gatherings . We are able to accommodate between 14 -18 guests in 7 pods. To speak to our large groups co-ordinator please call 01758 719180 or email glampiocoed@gmail.com.
Q: Do we need to bring cooking utensils, plates, cups, knives and forks?
All of the above are in the glamping pod or the communal kitchen for your use - everything you need!
Q: What extras do you recommend we bring along?
If you're not planning on doing a food run as soon as you arrive on site, then it might be a good idea to bring along some food and drink to keep you going.
Even in the summer the evenings can get a little chilly, so bring along a good amount of clothes to layer up if necessary.
Q: Are ball games allowed on the sites?
Yes, ball games are allowed on all of our sites! There's lots of room for outdoor play and most of our sites have an allocated patch of grass which is kept cut short to specifically allow for ball games.
Q: Is there a first aider on site or first aid facilities?
There is a first aid box in the communal kitchen which is regularly checked and stocked up.
