The Full Story

We opened in May 2018 with three pods, a brand new shower block and communal kitchen. 

​

Our goal is to offer luxury glamping in a beautiful and peaceful environment in our very own 50 acre of woodland. We want everyone to enjoy their stay and experience the bird song in the morning and the glow of the campfire in the night sky.

How we started

In the very beginning, Alun bought a 50 acre of woodland to sell firewood  and developed the business over the years.  

​

After an overnight stay in a glamping park and studying the structure, Alun's imagination was ignited and with help from his brother Siôn, he decided to build his own spacious, luxurious pods on the land which is build on site. 

​

We now have 7 separate pods, each measuring 6 meters in length by 3 meters wide. The pods are airy and  spacious with plenty of room to move around inside.  

​

Former headteacher Nia now dedicates her time to Glampio Coed Glamping. 

Her keen eye for interior design is evident, with luxury bedding, beautiful beds and gorgeous Welsh blankets in each of the pods.
